Hi guys, in this episode adrenaline was pumped through my body again when I heard a loud crackling noises around my camp and I was afraid it was a bear. There is a high population of black bears on Vancouver Island and sometimes they come searching for food in the night.

(This video has been shot in June 2016 on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. No firebans have existed in that period of time.)

my name is survival lily and I've been dropped off by a helicopter on Vancouver Island to survive seven days on my own well guys that's it I'm alone in the Canadian wilderness

only thing that's missing is the beer it's almost dark and I have to get to the other camp and for safety reasons I'm putting on my headlamp by the company through night and yeah it's a pretty strong light and I want to see what's lurking behind the bush hey bear hey bear and I always keep a second flashlight with me as well just in case the other one doesn't work and this here is the archer 1a in version 2 and it runs with just one double a battery and the small flashlight here is just awesome to have as a camping light I just set up the pin against the top and going to have a little bit of a reflection and this little light actually gives me some comfort in the night

okay guys I'm set up for the night bear spray knife just beside me hey bear doesn't seem like there's a bear nearby so I'm sure I'm going to have a good night sleep good night hey bear hey bear come here I have some pepper spray

it's the middle of the night and there's a freaking storm coming time to eat something these muscles are actually not too bad that's a big one - my last year a lot of muscles in here yeah guys I'm pretty lucky with this place here it's packed with muscles okay there are thousands of muscles in the Riverside forearm of the river and I just pick the bigger ones I left a baby in muscle ones because I don't want to eradicate an entire colony of muscles

I'm just cooking my muscles and actually there are a lot of predator birds birds of prey flying above my head actually they don't look very appealing and they taste like nothing so today I try to eat them with salt you always have to watch your back here on linkable Island because they have a lot of Cougars and black bears so you always have to be aware of your surroundings you
