Wild Cooking - Russula Mushrooms

Description

A lot of mushrooms of the Russula genus are edible and make delicious food that you can cook in the wild. An old Austrian recipe: roast the mushrooms in oil, add salt and caraway, roast till the water is gone. Then add a little water and roast again till the water is gone. Bon Appetit.

hi guys I'm Lilly and today I'm on a mushroom hunt and I'm searching for these mushrooms in particular these are mushrooms that belong to the Rishabha species and the blue ones are edible so now I try to find some more and roast them up at my back out Kim another one so while the fire keeps growing I want to pin off the mushrooms a little bit because you know warms like mushrooms as well and snails and you really want to get rid of these cars so you're going to cut them into pieces and then wash them off with water okay now the mushrooms are all cleaned up and I want to roast them in this pan here this pan is the nsrc goo brand and I like it because it has a handle which is detachable and you just you know plug it into this slot here and then push forward to lock and then you have a very nice pan with quite a long handle and that's what I like so yeah so basically an Austrian recipe for cooking these mushrooms is that first of all you want to add some vegetables oil into the pan then you want to heat up the oil in the pan a little bit till it has a cooking temperature not too hot but also not too cold okay and now I'm adding the mushrooms

and next what you don't want to forget is to add some caraway and you want to add some salt and then it's good for roasting on fire for 15 minutes while cooking mushrooms you will always notice that the shrink because they have a lot of water in them so as you can see there's a lot of moisture in the mushrooms and it's important that you roast them as long as the moisture is gone and after that you're gonna take a little bit of water and fill up the pan again and roast them again till this water is gone okay almost all of the water is gone now which is meaning that the mushrooms are ready to eat well I can tell you what they don't look good for the taste excellent so I want to thank you for watching please check out these videos here and follow me on Facebook Twitter and Instagram

support me through my amazon store and stay tuned till next time bye
