Canoe Camping in Canada in Autumn with Joe Robinet

Description

In this video, I canoe through a few lakes with Joe Robinet on a fall camping trip. The fall colors are spectacular, but it's clear that the season is about to change. I am focusing now on filling the freezer with fish and game. Canoe season is coming to an end - hunting season and winter camping seasons are just getting underway

strong wind from the Northwest was the signal that Indian summer was about to end

overnight the temperature dropped to 4 degrees Celsius and the wind died down literally the calm before the storm the change in weather was a reminder to me to start preparing for a long cold winter ahead most of the lakes around here will start to freeze in the next two or three weeks so it's time to start thinking about putting the canoe away and exchange it for hiking boots and snow shoes hunting and food preservation season is now upon us and that needs to be my focus it's time to start filling the freezer
