hi there guys spike from mcq bushcraft here welcome to another video I'm out in a beautiful part of the country with a couple of friends of mine this is Lee from LB custom knives and Sandy from Jack lure knives Sandi's brought his drone with them and he's going to be doing a bit of drone footage but every year at the end of the year the three of us meet up around Christmas time just before the holidays break and get away to a nice part of the country here deer bit of shooting sometimes a bit of fishing and just to have a good laugh and I thought I'd share the video with you gonna be doing some clay shooting just on the edge of this cliff here and Sandy's also going to be taking this drain for a spin so hope you enjoy the video so I'm using my side-by-side as I'm sure a lot of you have seen in many videos feisty 12 for what have you got there Sam these are lovely under and over this is a grown in be 5 to 5 slightly heavier than yours yeah it's a game gun as well right beautiful action if this action was designed in 1905 by John Moses Browning right pull forward hinge pin and so very real good gun yeah it looks so like it will last for a very very long time that seemingly
[Applause]
so attention-seeker I reckon I take you to taking just ten shots each yep took two that didn't it my turn to the launching
pretty good this thera-band gold and actually got quite a lot of power - yeah nice one good shot on and Sandy all right we start with in front that was curling C down I'm taking them too soon ugly the excuses excuses a oh good shot sandy yeah well get shot come on show push off take you wanna know that kind of thing right okay nice name [Applause]
sandy just do two shot two launches from that goal so I'm watching any point you just just signing by an help Leah so the thing is is you really want to take it before it starts to dip yeah they track it you see the when I shot it then I was in front of it yeah by about a foot yeah you was yeah so you have to move with it and then when you're about to take the shot you brush in front of the clay I mean the more experienced you get I mean I'm a rough shooter so everything I do is basically on instinct yep so I have to think too much I generally miss yeah so and I think that's what I'm doing I'm really thinking about getting it on target yeah you almost don't even wanna way you don't I don't look at the gun at all I don't look down the barrel I used to be focusing on something and really taking my time again yeah you know it's a sometimes it's hard to communicate what's really happening because you don't really know yourself but yeah I'll see you off I can see what you do with the barrel god what oh my beyond even on doing yeah what I might I can see you're either behind it or sometimes you're below love and yeah you know it's a and it this is a close this is quite flow strange
the other thing gone hounds do we just scope I'm not used to falling without looking damage go yeah I tend to move around on tender oh wait water transfer we gonna try and mix this up a bit for Sandy get some tricky ones off few easy ones that was a fantastic shot
I was quite there's quite a challenging shot amazing very very good I think that was that was nine out of ten what you doing down there sandy what's up hey sock monkey
I no longer agree with you just send them straight into the grain I know I'll go do that thing ready yeah [Applause]
shot my super shot as that too easy fully mode it could shoot got the clay on the bit [Applause]
[Applause]
About the Author
MCQBushcraft
I'm a UK based outdoorsman who started hunting and fishing with my friends when I was young.
Educating yourself about your surroundings and having the core skills to sustain yourself using your environment is a lost curriculum in the United Kingdom. We are well provided for, so well that "why do anything if somebody else will do it for you". This lifestyle has drastically disconnected people from having the knowledge and skills required to spend even one night in the woods and not get hungry.
I love being outdoors and have never lost the desire to learn and practice skills that I get a sense of natural connection from. Hunting hangs controversy in the minds of many, but in my eyes there is nothing more natural if you choose to eat meat. I appreciate that not everybody hunts in moderation though.
Thanks for reading
