hi guys do today this is William Irish minutes outdoors today we're going to be doing a review on the Pathfinder poncho a tarp
stay tuned alright guys so what I basically did is just ran my ridgeline just like I do I've showed you guys in other videos how to run that Ridgeline and then I just put the middle the very little toy out up to the ridge line and then I put two stakes in the corners of the back and that got me where I wanted this the tarp to lay out I knew where the configurations was going to be then I was able to put the tie outs running down to the corner right here but we got a little bit of a issue with the tap the tarp was sagging roll out it had very much room so we put a I put a basic tripod up and put one of these tarp Clips right in the middle and that brought the the shelter up had plenty of room in there but I'm going to take the inside the shelter and show you that and then I'm going to put the poncho on and show you the poncho on for a rain cover showing you guys the other side of that show through there like I said I just put that side up first this mean the middle tie out to the ridge line and then did both corners and then tied it down to the ground that way and then built that tripod to get that middle up but let's go in here and check out the inside here plenty of room in here a very very nice shelter I got debris bed down my wool blanket on top of that they see my all my gears right there if it did rain which it didn't last night but if it did it would have been nice and dry there you go all right guys here's the poncho on you see I'm about six foot even this Carmi is pretty pretty good my hands there's no way they're coming out unless I want to do so my upper body is covered at that point and the really really cool thing about this is eyes you can see I'm wearing a wide brim hat and the way this was designed the hood was designed to accommodate a wide brim hat okay so this thing is going to help keep you warm as well because it's going to help seen the wind around you and it's also going to keep you dry obviously it's a silicone impregnated SIL nylon tarp it's got tie out all over this each sides got at least four tiles on it and that just means it has about a million in one different configurations that it could be used for you know diamonds file points the improvised shelter that I made all kinds different shelter options you have with this the only one thing that you need to air on the side of caution of is that it is absolutely not fireproof it is a so like I said cell nylon silicone impregnated on the underside so even the slightest ember it's going to get a burn in it so make sure you make sure you keep that in mind when choosing where your firelight is gonna be but other than that this this tarp shelter is absolutely amazing I love it it's one of the best products that I've bought as far as you know rain gear that's versatile you know I have ponchos
in my kit I've been carrying ponchos for a very long time you know I'd rather have something that's as versatile as this that could be improvised into a shelter
then just have regular old poncho in my in my kit but this been William Myers mantis outdoors hope you enjoyed the video and if you did I appreciate if you could subscribe liking my video helps me out a lot appreciate all your comments views and support hopefully we'll see you out in the woods how doing guys is we Meyer Smith's outdoors be doing a little review on part of the preventive have a panther how doing guys as we marsh man shout doors and I am now blind for flu hi guys doing this William Irish mess outdoors today we're going to be doing a review on the Pathfinder heart puzzle hunt poncho hunter damn it dude I'm tongue-tied can't spit it out
