hey guys this is William Irish mass outdoors a lot of you have been asking me for a lightweight substitution for the stainless steel bottle kits that I carry you know some of you I understand are like hikers and backpackers and things like that and I really concentrated on you lightweight gear so that's what we have for your day alright so what I guy here is my haversack and I can tell you with what I have in here it lightened up a lot and it's full water even in fact what I'm talking about is a titanium canteen kit from heavy cover and this is all titanium and it even comes with a heavy lid that fits very very snug and will allow you to boil water and cook things a little bit faster but this is really impressed me as far as lightweight durability I mean with stainless steel you can really you can bend it you can move it with this it's not going anywhere you know I'm not stupid I'm not going to run this thing over with a truck like some people do or you know things like that I've seen but as far as lightweight durability goes you're not going to get anything that's going to top this now the thing about it is you want to lightweight replacement for stainless steel you're going to pay more so this from heavy cover is going for about 150 153 i think is on is on this site this cap right here is sold separately as a titanium cap the cap that comes with it is a little bit taller it's plastic long and it has like a lanyard hole in it so maybe you can clip it to something but i prefer the this has the same thing as a lane attachment as well but i prefer the titanium one and you know it this is an amazing kit
there's no aftertaste no out obviously no bpas or anything like that it says that so on the site you know so if you're looking for a lightweight replacement for stainless steel this is going to be what you're going to want again I have the cover for it fits really tightly it also has something so if it's in the fire you wanna check your stuff and grab a stick pop the lid off go back to it this is just basically a first impressions kind of the kit we're going to get it more on some some of the other adventures that would go on we're actually cooked with this and put this in a fire I was just seen from my stainless steel kit to this how much the weight ratio changed and I can I can actually tell the difference between a stainless steel kit and this but like I said if you want a titanium set you're going to pay for it cup canteen and lid you're going to pay a little bit extra for it alright guys you can pick up this canteen kit at ww heavy cover calm and like I said they're around 153 153 dollars u.s. I don't know if he does any international shipping or not so that would be a question you have to take up with them but this is a very lightweight very durable kit you wouldn't be sorry you got that's what I've seen yeah that's what I've seen definitely the you know the ibelieve the last time i checked the Vargo cup that's the couple owned is 90 bucks somewhere around there but i haven't looked for a while i actually have our Bargo titanium cup just like three years old so i might be wrong but the cup that i bought three years ago was 90 bucks alone yeah that's the big thing a lot of people would say to me when I'm talking about it is you know well I want value as like okay well if we're talking about value in titanium if you do your homework and you compare this what they're giving you how thick it is comprised to the other titanium companies you're going to come to the same conclusion that the heavy cover stuffs about the best you're going to get we'll see i've already been testing this as it is i mean because my Vargo stuff it's a round cup and with the canteen kit that i put in there and then i put in my pack the Vargo thing not talking bad about that company it's great company but the Vargo cup as being as thin titanium as it is it does miss shape a little bit in the pack when you're walking and hiking and things like that I've had this full water and hiking around for probably the last week or so and it has not missed shaped at all everything fits really tightly that being said when I want to grab doubt my pack it slides very smoothly it doesn't hang up and everything comes out all at once I mean I'm pretty impressed with this I got mine yeah goes into a little hidden woodsman tinder bag I think that's what he sells he's asked in your bags you know I just I'm pretty impressed with these and they're they're very light very light alright guys well this you can find this at ww heavy cover calm it's pretty much right on the fifth on the home page I think he sells the in there I'm going in a weird direction here three like that that's a weird direction three two hi guys what's been William Myers mass outdoors I hope you enjoyed watching this video for some more of our previous videos they're over in the boxes playing right now to my left there's also a subscribe button over there and if you haven't done so already I appreciate it click subscribe you can stay up to date with me and what's going on with the videos by going to ww facebook.com forward slash mass outdoors by going to ww anas outdoors LLC com you can stay up to date with the videos you can read my articles and other blogs that i right you can also shop in the store get some beeswax candles and some other things that are coming to the site very soon so appreciate our reviews comments and support and hopefully we'll see out the woods
