you

hey guys doing this William Irish mass outdoors and today we're going to be doing kind of a part two to the last video that I did which was net making part 1 this really isn't anything to show you how to make natsis isn't anything in that forward progression of that teaching that skill this video is more geared to ok once you've made that net that simple net that we made that can be used as a hammock or a chair or what will you it can also be used for this and it could also be used for that and what we're going to show you today is how to retrofit it into a package hi guys so this is my boy Ralph pack frame right here and it basically carries my sheltering kit and what I mainly carry for petroleum core body temperature like internet system and it carries some camp cooking things as well a small kit Bush bag kit so if anything were to happen to this may be one of the something would have break on it or something like that or snap or anything like that and I was on the move and didn't feel like replacing that item I could pack the rest of the frame in this and just really quickly sit this net that we just made to carry the rest of this pack and then once I'm getting to my next camp where I had the time to sit down and fix the frame then I could do that alright so let's go ahead and take the contents off this frame and show you how to use the net as a pack this line is also my Ridgeline or my shelter hit

you

here we go all right and that's all by the way for a minute basically all we have to do is get just laid out flat now with these two lines to lay straight get this net lane as flat as I can just like this then want to throw the contents of that Roy Croft right in there give this which would be the bottom just a simple overhand knot just like that and then the rest of the line let me bring this line the bottom line through the top part of the pack through the netting tools and any up give me as much they eat throw that line to the top and then don't worry about bring the rest of the net over just like that bring my rope through that's going to secure it to the rest of the pack alright so now what I want to do is bring these what once we start at the bottom which is going to be the top eventually I just wanted it probably not confuse you guys what we're going to do is bring the ropes around basically we're make this secured just like this this could be done many different ways is the way that I do it and it's secure when I do it this way by the way this is not going to fall outside so then we're going to come on the side or to put a slippery half inch on this side slippery half inch in that's go ahead put some securities and put a security hitching the side and behind the knot this we know for a fact that's not gonna go anywhere now this top of our pack you kind of see how it's coming together this is basically going to be the straps go around you just like this so i'm going to reset all right so when we do get this pack on our back what we're going to do is going to take these ropes that are going to be basically our shoulder straps and we're going to get it on and then we're going to feed these shoulder straps through the bottom just like this and effectively what we're going to make is a waist belt for this so be kind of set up just like Roy Croft a frame that will have shoulder straps and a waist belt so let's go and get this on

goes off pretty simply let's drop get that cinched up as high as I can now what I want to do one side of this room cuz I want to make a loop just like I've showed you before many times just by taking a bite / will reach you through grabbing that tag in just like that more higher on the back then put

one improve looks like i am gonna have a lot of play with you we're gonna show you what to do it that you're a second get this stop put a slit in so if they think happens I can quickly get in this pack all right so all this excess cord should I haven't going to take it I'm going to wrap around my waist like I said if you're using this as a fishing net or a hammock you're going to have a lot of excess rope here

take and tuck that just like this but another slip knot in it well all these NOS amis Slipknot's so all I have to do is cool when they're gonna come all the members the tag in there not much what's a get there you go guys pacnet it up all right well there you guys go I just want to show you how versatile that net that we made can be in a pack frame right now well how to pack frame is just a pack excuse me really comfortable you know I have full mobility I'm not restricted in any way I don't feel like I'm having to lean forward carry the weight fab you said there is only about prob about 20 25 pounds in this pack I do carry a haversack with my other essentials in it that is probably less than 10 pounds wave lesson to the panels my lap weight yet but what else whatever is not in here isn't that haversack so I say all together my loadout is probably about 30 pounds maybe all right guys well this has been William Myers mass outdoors just really quickly wanted to show you how versatile that net that we made in the previous video can be you know we want to show you guys how to Russia fitted as a pack and a really comfortable pack as well I hope you guys get out and try this project for yourselves like I said this has been William Myers mass outdoors i hope you enjoyed the video and if you did i appreciate if you click Subscribe locking my video helps me and my channel a lot appreciate all reviews cover support hopefully we'll see out the woods
