The Making of my NESSMUK KNIFE

Description

This is the making of my George W. Sears Nessmuk Knife.

I did it in the knifemaking course with some YT friends under professional advice from master knifemaker Richard Kappeller. After 2 Heat treatment sections we ended up on a 65HRC blade...NICE!!

The specs:

blade: 5 inch

Handle: 4.5 inch

Materials:

1.2519 high carbon steel

Stag handle with stainless rivets (some are placed to create a cross) and a lanyard hole (stainless tube)

Next step:

Leather shetah :-)
