yeah hello my friends welcome to a new episode of the survival school tata tea my name is mike and today i want to show you a new neck knife i purchased and get this week so let's have a look at it this is the CKC hiker it's made from a guy named kylie caddy harris his logo is branded in there so you can see and the knife comes with this superb made kydex sheath with a drainage hole at the bottom i have attached to it fairfield holder which want to show you enough this is just a simple way of etc fire still to any character sheet made that my thoughts oh that's really fancy but for me to work so it's okay this is made out of bungee cord so I've just put their bungee cord through and Stitch stem loops and the factor got in there sir little bit at the beginning but it will become loser at the time and this holds the fireplace you are we all in place can shake it out so let's have a look at them up so here we go this is the knife the blade comes from SWAT so what is the company in New Zealand the brand is over there and it's made out of health six Swedish carbon steel the full tang knife so this is the CKC hiker version 2.0 you can see it's full tank it's not very thick think it's about two two and a half millimeters in thickness full convex grinds so it's really quite useful tool and this is a nice little finger child choked up the knife there and you can see it's not the handle is not even long enough to catch the pinky but for a three finger hold it it's great it comes razor sharp so calorific grated have made a great job to the knife and I'm really really happy with that so little peg up knife and I've done some some modifications to it at first I've done the soil nice and smooth with a

Turing machine and the small grinding bit so this one is really rounded off it wasn't so around as I got it but the bottom problem it was ok for for holding it and for all purposes it's okay but now it looks a little bit nice and smooth their import and it's just my opinion and that's just a upgrade I've done I also grinded the handle up to an 800 grit and hold it with Dennis oil to get it a little waterproof and move and yeah feels nice and add the knife blade has sharp edges on the spine so you can throw very good sparks with the Ferro rod and yeah this is wheeler would say what are from New Zealand really nice Ferrin on it here you can see there in logo from cali caddis username is our knives and stuff and he's done a lot of videos about this knife and some other knives he made so this is one out of the last ten he made so if you want to get one be fast before all they are gone squiggly a knife it's not very expensive custom runs 63 in new zealand dollars which is in Euros approximately 37 so yeah let's take the knife to some test runs let's see how it performs so let's take a look out a nice perform as you can see it's for true finger holes and the Charlie's here so that the thing I can slip into the blade and this is really sharp knife and the first thing I want to make is the 10th back it's very dry wood but as you can see no problem with this small knife so with a few cups I get a nice little point on this dick for a notch we need to cut first push cut and then the back up and you can see to cut and notch it down so really great plus for this small knife you can also do returning up to a small size i would say 11 and a half inch in diameter we should be no problem with his knife because it's full tank works great for this and yeah let's test out some parks on my Ferro rod as you can see which is really great stuff for making fire lighting the Ferro rod yeah what else the knife also can behold with a check leave a grip so cutting this way and it carries that on his previous video

don't choke up with the forehand grip because the knife can rig it around so better to hold it a little this way so get the knife will hold in place and that's the way you slide something in the kitchen as well it's very interesting that some people don't use the knife outdoors like the way to do it the kitchen the kitchen they holdin is very slightly and just cutting that the most things on earth but outdoors they think they have to choke up the knife and then hold it very very hard and and that's not necessary a good job knife can do everything without it very very firm I would say over dimensional good as long as the knife is sharp there are no problems you can cut even with a slight crib also there is justly work with which gives you a lot of control and a lot of power so then also you can do this way and get up great amount of wood with just one cut so it's not the knife itself who performs well it's the user also so if you know some cutting techniques you are very well equipped also with a small knife and you can do a lots of with this small knife not a very big knife think it's about four inches overall but i will put up the technical specs from this knife at the end of the video yeah i really like this knife and the ship is also very very good working I've done a modification to Disney stories she's too because the knife wasn't that fast in the stead strongly in the in the sheath that I wanted so I just drill tools and screwed this one together so I have a very firm grip in the sheet and nothing can fall out and if this if this is too strong I can unscrew this put it in here screw it that way and it becomes a little looser so yeah that's my knife preview of the tkt hiker hope you liked it

with it nice and stuff on YouTube and thanks for watching would appreciate all your comments and support and subscribe to my channel if you want so yeah that did you next time bye you
