what I have here is my favorite EDC knife so stay tuned this is my trusty old friend the Leatherman skeleton so why do I prefer the Leatherman skeleton over the other models it's very simple because it has just the essentials on it that I use the most starting with the first tool so one hand opening stainless steel blade half serrated half plain edge which I find very useful when it comes to EDC tasks because opening boxes cutting out a fibrous materials this very very small serrations come in very handy while the razor's edge in front of it makes it very useful for cutting everything else the blade is locked by this liner lock mechanism to push it away from the tang to get it unlocked and to fold it back in and once you fold it completely out this lock comes in place

beside the blade on the outside exterior you have this carabiner which allows you to hook this blade on every peg or on any pocket that you want besides that you can also use it as a cap lifter or a bottle opener just hook in on the bottle open it up and enjoy a refreshing drink talking about the exterior first you also have this pocket clip which is very nice and sealed the fit and finish very well there is a secret place in the handle where you can get one of those Letterman bits and this flathead screw bit this double-headed flathead screw bit it's already part of this kit and stores nicely inside the frame of the Letterman skeleton if we open up the Letterman skeleton just a bit you can see it there would be a hole for maybe put in a lanyard well I don't use a lanyard at all because I have either the pocket clip or is carabiner when we talk about opening the Letterman skeleton you can see it has this really nice stout and rounded point pliers together with the wire cutters so the pliers allow you have a very strong tip that also can hold very small stuff I like that it's not a full size plier that you can open and tighten you know locking nuts this size but for what it is

as an EDC plier it's very useful and very handy and open up I would say yeah - nice size one of the most used tools at all on this plate beside the knife is this screwdriver and as you can see it's a Phillips you already have seen the flathead screwdrivers this is the Phillips

and they are locked so you have to push down on here if you press down there this bar in front opens up just a bit so you can remove the Phillips which is also a double head Phillips bit and when you want to put it in again press it again and it's locked in place that's really a neat feature I really do love this a lot the only negative point of all this Letterman skeleton in my opinion is that the screwdriver if you want to use it needs to ya be folded like this and even then you have not a straight line while you know screwing down or screwing out the screw so this is the handle is a little off just because this the shape of the handle is so different what is good though is that you can rotate it and it is 90 degree position and you can turn in very hard on it that is the thing I really like if you want to buy a Leatherman skeleton I have put a link down below in the description box and beware there are two kinds of it this is the stainless steel model stainless steel model always has this half serrated half plain edge blade well there is another model called the CX model and the CX comes with a carbon fiber handle inlays and so on with a plain edge plate so those are the two difference everything else is completely the same you have the same tools same size

I think the same weight but my opinion for an EDC this one is much sturdier than the CX model and yeah I like it just because it's easy simple and it has exactly the tools on it that I need the most hope this review helps thanks for watching see you next time my god
