well I'm under my table it's midnight at the beginning of August in the UK we've got a weather front coming through I'm under my Hillenburg table it's absolutely pouring down you probably can hear it the rain on the top just got my little camera here and haven't got a sophisticated camera setup with an external mic or anything but just with this little camera you should be able to hear the rain I'll give you a little look around my Taff in a second to see what's going on but I just keep getting comments on my blog and on YouTube about tarp setup saying all year the Roco until that that will be all right till it rained that we were okay until it rains but it's fine when it rains I sleep out hundreds of nights a year I spend scores of nights minimum under a tarp
I'm currently doing a three-week block of working forces of willing horses and I'm sleeping under a tarp the whole time and it's currently absolutely chucking it down with rain is the weather going to come in and it's fine it's not a problem all these YouTube commenters who commenting on tarp setup saying we don't work when it rains go outside and try it it's fine
have a look look for yourself I'll show you around my time and there's the gap between outside the top and inside the tub
inside the tart the grounds dry outside the tarp the grounds wet because the tarp stops you from getting wet when it rains in the woods all these people who say all your tarps have groats until it rains but clearly never slept out in the woods in a tarp look here's my boots there's my rucksack there's my trousers with my knife on the belt I'm in my sleeping bag I'm on a camp bed yes but that's just because I've been trying out some Lou's going to throw this out and I kept it but it's not to do with not being on the ground the ground is dry you can see that there's my contact lens case water bottle rucksack through the bits of kit and it's try the outside look there's the water running off my top it's wet it's really raining heavily in the woods
