Description
Here I go out and do a overnighter in the Norwegian forests. I have a little food segment where I show a nice way to cook a potato on the campfire.

hello there and welcome to Norwegian woods today I'm out in in the forced to do lead organizer again I brought with me some super lightweight backpacking gear as you can see and I'm going to try to do some winter camping with my hammock system this is actually the second time I used this system so hopefully it will keep me keep me nice and warm
oh yeah I think I found myself oh yes but
I Spit my hammock right up there and I think I can make myself a little campfire don't hate I think that would be perfect because it's starting to get a little bit darker so I probably should settle down for a full day I found that sometimes like this when I'm not working I suddenly get dehydrated and I have my my water inside of my backpack I didn't have it available but I think I need some some water starting to reduce the focus the concentration just a tiny bit and for me that's a sign of that I need to drink it so this is the stuff I brought with me this time I wouldn't exactly classify it as lightweight I I think retrieve like this a little bit of hiking this is pretty much at the limit of what kind of weight I would carry I think with the backpack it's a pretty big backpack and three litres of water and some nice food this is a whole thing weighs about 28 kilograms so it's it's a little bit too much but I didn't hike in too far this time so maybe about half an hour so maybe an hour walk then I will talk my my shelter it's just to to more elastic course for the other side of the tart and it's ready for the night I think the temperature is
it's negative seven degrees Celsius so maybe we get below 10 degrees during the night so hopefully setup will do pretty calm flipped that it will I'm losing quite a bit all right so I think I just find myself a little bit over firewood and start to cook myself a little bit of food so so I managed to make myself a little camper I found that's Bruce Lee right next to my hammock set up so it was a little bit worried it might form up on my sleep system during the night so I just chopped it down and made some fire without some two problems and one go perishing going for quite a while now then I think it's about time to make myself a little bit food I brought with me a couple of large potatoes wrapped in aluminum foil just leave them in the fire for a little more think maybe half an hour or so to be good for the potatoes now the potatoes has been in the fire for almost an hour yeah and I made this little holder holder just took me till branches and left them together a little bit spring jeez I have some ham yes you can use bacon or you can use all kinds of things this is I had some ham that's unquote so there you can see in my potato we on a stick on three sticks actually I think this Jesus melting hand that's really really good jumping fruit it's easy to make potato holder works pretty good I have decided to change up the setup just a little bit because it's it's a case quite a night I don't think there's any need for the for the tarp maybe that heart will will give a little bit more insulation but I try to leave it out it's always nice to see the clear sky I also try to do this without wool blanket inside only the sleeping bag and and on the quilt the mountain blanket just I can see how well this the setup works in cold weather if it gets really cold for me I can always put in the wool blanket and maybe even put up the tart it it doesn't take much time so I give you give you a report in the money it is getting colder
the thermometer shows negative 10 11 something between there so I think it's going to be pretty cold in the morning good morning get up for quite a while I put on the last bit of our boots from yesterday I'm just going to let that fire burn down and pack up and leave for home I guess I have to say the ham hock setup worked really good even without the tarp firm and blanket I wasn't cold from underneath it's a little bit cold on my my feet but I picked up some thicker sauce and another was was about negative 20 degrees in the middle of the night it's 10 degrees all right it was a chilly
and everything's packed up and I'm ready to leave for home I hope you have enjoyed this little video and hopefully I will see you again very very soon thanks and bye bye
