hello there and welcome to innovation woods today I'm also dating Forrest overnight trip it's really really nice weather it's really get a sense of the summer I think this is the warmest day so far this year so I saw on the forecast it's going to be a little bit of rain maybe tomorrow but I think this day would be yeah perfect first summer day there
I see in a lot of places on the on the on the hiker I see this spot that that's been dug out from from one bore one pigs and this is the yeah it's a new species from for this area and I think in the next few years we're going to get a lot of them and that's not a good thing for this for this forest it's good for it's good for hunting but not for anything outside when working like this it's important to drink a bit of water on the boat because if your levels your your water levels in your body get too low then you get get a little bit sick at least I get really tired and lose the motivation so it's important to drink a little bit and it's also important to check them up from time to time it's it is not the easiest terrain to navigate because it's a lot a lot of small hills and small valleys and trails everywhere so I think it's it the best just across the compass and and follow the directions you get from from this - it's it's a little bit safer than the new map I think because there's so many small details that doesn't show up in the map that can give mistake politics but if I wait a little bit more open open areas where I can see a few more landmarks then the map is probably about the truth and the Kobus so it's little bit over both depending on what part of this is hi Carmen I can also see that the mosquitoes are common coming out of the winter so I brought some some mosquito repellant I think I'll be be happy that I did just that tonight because I don't like mosquito box bites I run into this lady cabin in the middle of the middle of the forest I actually did this the last time I was here as well but I tried to take a little bit different route it was really really steep where I went last time and then I didn't have a backpack like this so I wanted to try to find my easier route but maybe I'm just out of shape but it was a little bit hard to get it I'm not going to stay in the cabin I just wanted to show you because it's listen a lot of these cabins around the woods in most of Norway I think this particular cabin I don't know exactly what it was built for but I guess it was meant to be a hunting cabin of some sort and there's also a few hundred meters of that direction they used to be an old forest fire lookout tower and maybe the guys that was stationed in this area to look for forest fires in the driest periods of the summers maybe they stayed here I don't know because there's there's no other cabins like this in the in the really close business other than this one from from this tower I don't know what not decades at least I know that this has been used as a as a hunting cabin and back in the days there was also a lot of these cabins that was used for for the guys that worked out in the woods for the Lumberjacks I don't know if probably there's been some some number Jack's in this base cabinets were there
I really don't know all that much about the history of this place it's a really beautiful location and it's um yeah pretty minimalist log cabin that's probably made of on crease that was caught on right around this this area quite a few years ago
[Applause]
so so then I reached the highest point of this entry per month this is the spot where the new cloud tower used to stay it's not very much left at all I remember I was up there once when I was just kidding and then the construction was dead standing now I can see this just a few of this are in both that talking to the into the rock and some pieces of rotten wood that's lying all over this this area from where when the tower actually came down and they used to be quite a few this this lookout towers around in in this area but I think that's that's only one that's still in use it's getting later in the afternoon now it's I think the Sun is on its way down I still got to you what we hours left I think a god of the daylight yeah but for two hours under daylight and the the spot I planted to pick up camp is wrapped right down and on the other side of this hill I think I've reached my destination for the trip at least my camping spots and it's a really really nice place it's just a small lake but it's good for some drinking water and the views I don't think this is a bad spot to have my hammock it's actually one of the one of the best spots I've had not the best I feel that the key toes are really coming out now so I guess it's time for me to close up this this sleeping department and put on some little repellent and maybe make some easy food nothing fancy for this trip just companies

where's my water [Applause]
exist like this mosquito repellent this roller is working pretty good a lot of mosquitoes around okay since the Leonid on that's what I want them to do the Sun has come down it soon be dark this guy's almost completely blue or left any clouds in it or the forecast said it is going to be a little bit of rain tomorrow so I have picked up a Ridgeline and I yeah I would put up my top before I go to bed I really like to align this this Emily without the dark that's a lot of local birdlife Brown that's the business there's it is like the dock that's living rock of maybe like 50 meters from my cabin stopper I really don't hope I I disturb it because it's probably lying in this map trying to keep them warm get them some baby dogs a little bit later I don't make a lot of noise it's a little bit of difference so I hope it's okay so that that's what's going on all over the forest at the time of the earth so many different birds and animals that that are in this really vulnerable but in a petition I think it's important to be a bit bit mindful so we don't just disturb and destroy as you move along in the inwards try to take it easy and maybe you get to mom I can get some clothes experiences with the word life it also when it happens I'll heard some people complaining but they are sometimes getting a little bit bored when they're out in the cotton hoods I have never had that problem I don't need anything to to entertain myself with my mother it's just yeah then all by yourself in a place like this kind of forces you to relax at carnival I will say maybe maybe this spiritual experience carnival meditation outsource
yeah at least it's not boring it's really nice
[Music]
good morning I just woke up to a rainy day out in the forest I had a really nice night sleep and somewhere during the night I started to rain it's yeah nice and right inside this house sheltered right before I went to bed yesterday I had this cool experience I was sitting outside and fiddling with my camera and suddenly this huge owl just landed just a few meters maybe four or five meters in front of me in a tree and I managed the captured on video before it floated away into the silence of the other night and I also saw another another big bird when I was driving in there yesterday it was walking on the road in front of me I do this this grouse they're mating at this the time of their and I saw this this female and was walking in front of my car
also cool broadly observed because usually when I'm out walking in the forest I just hidden hidden when I take off and run away from me so aware of their of their environment and they I always stay on the safe side I don't want to be eaten and I don't play them you
when I packed up my my stuff for this for this movie opener trip I was a little bit worried about rain so I thought we'd made this feel like this mountain blankets I have another one of from another makers that's insulated that I use for the new thing using it for on the click for my Mohammed system in the winter time but this one is not insulated and this mountain blankets I think they are really versatile multifunctional pieces of equipment the use I bought this for is to try to use it as a pawn shop a rain poncho now it seems like the rain has pretty much stopped up so I don't think I need it but I just wanted to show you one use of this mountain blankets since I brought it with me and mine here [Applause]
the Communists in different shapes and sizes this this multi blanket and this one I think it's the pretty student after a rain poncho because it also can cover your backpack volume quite far down on the back side and you can also do this above the head we take up this the zipper little bit and as you can see it just got you are almost with with zippers so the arms will get wet like this but when you buy this this particular model you get a pair of arms that you can [Music]
it's all night ear them off [Music]
if it's a little bit thinner on the on the bottom and that's also this this loop I think you can pick your stomper come through
the setup like this I think you're really pretty good gettin pretty good protection from the rain because this fabric is completely waterproof that's yeah and the camouflage pattern is on this called the mountain camouflage I think it is I'm not all that that keen on on camouflage but if this I think it looks really cool and it's also pretty effective if you want to use this when you go hunting or if you want some strange
Audrey things stay hidden from other people
yeah so this is the field you can original from from Yavin and if with this setup it's a setup as I went on so just wanted to let you know that how it looks
now it looks like the weather is really turning the Sun is back shining and I'm about the back of my little camp and hike back to the car so hopefully I'll be able to go out and do some more camping trip soon and make some more videos here and for myself of course so until next time thank you and bye bye you
