you know my friends today we are hearing this a really steep trail just for a short trip for two main reasons the first is I got this new really cheaper stabilizer for my camera and they want to try it out so if the quality is not the best you will forgive me because I'm just learning and I'm not I don't know yet if the quality is good enough for shooting a video and the second reason is that I have made sorry for my breath because as I said is a bit steep this this train anyway I also want to try a new stove stove that I modified I Pro is a really simple project that I made and I will explain to you in a few moments because I was in need of a big stone stove for the winter because my solo stove is a really good but it's also a bit a small and I find that I have found that when you deal with what would you will have to nurse it all the time buddy [Applause]
and so I made this taking uh some pieces from taking some fishes from our idea I made this stove and I will try it this morning with you guys so stay tuned I found a much wood on the trail and as a result I sweat a lot with my axe but I like to keep the trees now say it green because as you can see it's impossible to take them really clean but at least I want to take the fallen trees out from the trail my dog is chasing animals as usual for the from the first impression I can say that I seems a bit more stabilized than usual my camera but we will see in the editing and there you will see in the next video anyway I found that this good material on the way which I use I will use for the fire it's worth but if you take it in your hand or in your pocket for a trip you will have a dry material to use this is one of my usual I probably not very I don't use it very much but I come here sometime and I usually cook something along the trail this day as I said I will just use it to test my new stove so this is a the stove as you can see I've used it a few times but I've made a few modifications since that the last time and I will show you them in a moment this is the pot inside and I've made this two pieces as I said it's a really simple project just two pieces that you can put together like this across and put it on the stove so you can put something to cook on it and also I've made this whole round to feed the stove not only as I was doing previously from the top also you can put this wood from here some people made was using this IKEA stuff made the holes down here have faded from the the lower part I prefer to use the top because I put the sticks like this and also longer sticks and keep feeding it while the burn they burn while if I put in this way they will burn inside and then they fall down the course fall down I also defend it fall down and the other part but we will see in a moment just the time to collect some wood and fill it up I usually prefer to who feel the stove before starting the fire instead of starting the fire inside and then keep feeding it as I said I have made this this stove and I plan to use it instead of my solo stove during winter because the solo stove is a bit small and the sole if the wood is a bit wet you have to nurse it all the time in this case given that it's a bigger the section of the stove is bigger the volume you can put more wood inside and the bigger piece of wood you can have you will have much more heat inside the stove and so it will be easy to fill it with what wood many people may make fit for the stove to keep it out from the ground the water around like in this case but I don't want to waste much weight and space in my backpack so I will usually use just stones or piece of wood to to piece of log to keep the stove out from the ground but we are taking with me any other stuff
also given that I'm using the stove as I said many times every time I use a list over and I want to waste much time to come to process the wood so I usually travel light without text or sometimes even without the soul and the knife I always bring with me at least Victorinox like this the swiss camp model in this case and even if we are in full winter i will show you that we can adjust make the fire with just this and the fire still I will make some feather sticks in this case that will help me to substan the fire in the initial moments given that around here I don't find I can find a good wood to make feather sticks ago I will just make a pile of feathers to put inside the school [Laughter]
[Applause]
and just put it inside that will it will help to sustain the flames in the initial moments a piece of chocolate here and usually when I am I usually use this victory in aqsa to start the fire I prefer to use the the sole because the spine of the so is really sharp you can see it's already catch the fire and they would them chocolate I found this material on the way and I will use it of course [Applause]
[Applause]
if you put and you feel the stove before starting the fire you won't have to do anything else to boil some water you just wait that this sticks keep burning and the lower part will on the wood will start to UM to burn this simply simple project is a really effective because I find that surprising enough it works better than the some brand like some stove I don't know if it's a matter of ventilation or of the size of the stove I only use the solo day solo stove the small version of the solo stove not the Titan but I find it that this is easier especially in winter is easier to use now I just use this pieces that I've made also simply simply use their makeup in this case filled with water or eventually you can use just aluminum these dopes already is [Music]
[Music]
big hole that I put here is a useful I could have weighed the water to boil but I like to feed my stove a bit more because the other good part of a bigger stove is that you can use its heat to warm yourself
[Laughter]
and if you have a bigger pot you can always feed it from here and you can also put bigger logs as I said before and then when we start breaking and become a course you just feed them a bit more inside [Music]
it could be better to have pot to contain the stone like in the case of the solar stove in this case you I have to put my small pot inside the stove that's not a big deal but the only problem with that is that we have a bag for the stoves back for this but when you put this inside the stove unless you clean it very well we will have to clean this bag
after that after wire and a good user of Victorinox is this now if you want to warm yourself we just feed it from the top these tea bags are really useful for the wood and also in the garden if you put it in inside the ground of your plants could be good blessed for them jeez guys my dog wants something to eat because you realize that you don't need much life to me they were on the contrary
sometimes too much is too bad in the end guys I can say that this is more project small and easy project is a success because I have a stone going for more than an hour with no problem just keep on feeding the sticks and nothing else I don't have to blow on it even if the sticks are really wet and so for me this is really a good option if you want to travel light
the only problem could be that it's not really foldable you have to take it the size that it is but if you use and they you if you find that the right pot to to use inside or containing it you can put the stove the pot and they also they some food or some stuff inside them so you want to use much more space than than this just a bag don't forget bag to contain it because as all wood stoves it will be
really dear dirt at the end of the process I find this as I said the IKEA stores I don't know if you have one of them around you but nowadays idea the wind has changed anyway nowadays the IKEA is anywhere in the world so good for her mr. IKEA I guess but not sure if you can see the Stover very well but sometimes it's not so easy like it seems looking at the video it's not so easy to shoot the video alone because you have to find the the good angle and then it's not so easy let's say that it's not always so easy unfortunately the serie we don't have much much as no like we're in Italy we had much snow in the north but in my heart this year is not the for the snow as you can see there when you will use a boost over you don't leave much traces of your passage I could have covered that cause we were and that ashes with stones
[Applause]
