hello guys this is Nick from HS survival school and today I will show you how to find your direction satified where is north we don't need a needle and straw so first of all what him to do is to cut clean straw like this till we need two little pieces so here we have our two pieces then what we want to do if we have a magnet and it is good but if you don't that is not a problem if you have a magnet you should swipe the needle on it but if you don't have a magnet you can use any kind of clothes and you need to swipe your needle or as fast as you can

then what you want to do is to put this needle in the center of the straw just like this you want to push it all the way down then what you want to do is to take your other piece and put it in the center just like we did with the other one so you get something like this then you take a name kind of container with water and you put your needle in it as you see it is pointing that way which means that north in my situation is on that way let's try it again let's put it like this and you see most is on that now I will show you so we take our needle and put it inside as you see it is pointing that way this is a very good thing for a survival situation if you have a needle and strong with you so thanks for watching please subscribe
